My domain name is registered with another company.

If you have a domain registered with another company there are two options available:

  1. You may transfer your domain.
  2. You may update your nameservers.

This process is easy and we will provide assistance if needed.

I have email hosting with another company

There is no issue keeping your email with your current provider. Please make sure to notify us of whether you plan to keep your email or start using our email service.

If you’ve purchased the Business or Professional plan you may request up to 5 email accounts to be migrated free of charge. A migration fee is applied for Basic plans or if you plan to migrate more than 5 mailboxes.

How long does it take?

On average, taxPRO websites take anywhere from 7 to 10 business days. We operate Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST. We build websites on a first-come, first-serve basis. During the months of December and January, you may experience delays while we process a large number of orders.

Disclaimer: Domain transfers may take up to 14 days delaying the time before we can start building your website. You may opt to update your nameservers for a quick turnaround time. Our staff is available to guide you through this process if needed.

Can I change colors, text ,or images?

Yes, you have the ability to change the colors, text, and images on the website at any time using the website’s visual builder.

File Online and Share Documents

We do not provide a File Online or a Share Documents service. However, you may share your portal on your website as a button or link.

We recommend 1040.com for filing online and Drake Portals for document sharing.

Is there a setup fee?

No setup fee is required.

Is there a contract?

We ask that you keep the website for one year or pay an early cancellation fee of $125. The cancellation fee for the professional plan is $250.
This fee pays for the development and hard work our staff commits to building your website.

Customize website

The website design is customizable using a visual website builder. You and your staff have the ability to update colors, text, images, and move elements around on the page to adjust the layout. Our staff is available to make minor adjustments to your website as part of the plan.

Requesting Modifications & Adjustments

Minor adjustments at no cost:

  1. Contact information.
  2. Testimonials, Staff, CTA Buttons, & About Us Section.
  3. One color scheme change.
  4. External links (up to 5).

Any major design changes beyond the original design will incur additional costs. Additional modifications beyond the initial development form may incur fees  Some inner pages are not editable without forfeiting regular updates for those pages. If you need additional changes please contact us or open a ticket. Changing the theme is not included. Adding new features is also not included. Additional changes beyond the scope of the taxPRO project can be made at the rate of $85 per hour.
